Biography
Ever since I can remember, I drew pictures, even as a girl growing up on a farm in central Wisconsin. It was my dream to be an artist, not knowing I already was one. I taught art and worked as a graphic designer and illustrator; all the while being hounded by my dream. I have since realized that dream, and now live as a full-time fine artist. Painting is the purpose of my existence.

Artist Statement
Images have always presented themselves to me; all I do is execute them so that they present themselves to you. I paint from life, establishing rapport with the subject matter as I paint it, whether it be figure, flower or fruit. I am at one with the subject.
The artwork is the medium by which I connect with you. I want you to connect with the art on some level that was present to me when I painted it. It is this connection that flows from the subject, through the artist, to you and out to the universe.
